Chef Adam Waller to hold down the fort

Bocado owner Brian Lewis has announced that Todd Ginsberg will soon leave his post as the restaurant's executive chef. Ginsberg, who served as the restaurant's opening chef, has helmed Bocado's kitchen since 2009.
“Though I am sad to see Todd go, we have been friends for the past three years, enjoying the success of Bocado as a team, and we will remain good friends,” Lewis said in a press release.
Ginsberg's simple yet innovative small plates have garnered substantial media attention during his time at Bocado, but his burger stack in particular is thought, by many, to be the best burger in Atlanta.
In the interim, chef Adam Waller — currently chef de cuisine at Bocado's sister restaurant STG Trattoria — will step up in Ginsberg's stead as the chef at Bocado. Formerly chef de cuisine at Sotto Sotto, Waller was also named a 'Sous Chef to Watch' by CL in 2011.
Bocado will hold a joint three-year anniversary celebration and farewell party for Ginsberg on Wed., Oct. 17, where the restaurant's famed burger stack will be offered for just $3.
No word yet on where Ginsberg will land. More details as they arise.
