Halloween is quickly approaching ... so it’s fitting that the guys behind the AllWays Open Creative agency (Eric Nine, Mike Moore, and the local beer guru known as Ale Sharpton) would host a culinary event like Beast Feast.

Popping off Oct. 18 at the SweetWater Brewery, Beast Feast is set to shine a spotlight on five “eerily talented culinary geniuses” — Mike LaSage (executive chef P’Cheen and co-owner/chef Bone Lick BBQ), Joey Ahn (executive chef, SOHO), Edward Russell (executive chef, Parish), Jared Lee Pyles (co-founder, Villains), Matt Deckard (executive chef, Deckard’s and Tappan Street) — as they create dishes to be paired with select SweetWater brews.

Also, as part of the horror-flavored theme, the AllWays Creative crew will transform the participating chefs into “beasts” via various digital art platforms and then display the works at the event.

On top of all that, Beast Feast will feature wine tastings, dessert treats, live art exhibitions (starring Mici Meko, among others), music by DJ Kemit and more.

Sounds like a frighteningly good time, right? Don’t be scurred to check it out.

$19.99-$39.99. 7 p.m. Oct. 18. SweetWater Brewery, 195 Ottley Dr. www.xorbia.com.
