South Main Kitchen Mon., May 25, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., 4:30-10 p.m. Memorial Day at South Main Kitchen Chef Christy Stone will be serving South Main Kitchen’s standard dinner menu on Memorial Day. Stone will also serve summer specials such as burgers or slider trios. Details.

Tuesday

Gunshow Tues.-Wed., May 26-27, 6-9 p.m. Gunshow Hosts “Hired Guns” Dining Event Gunshow is bringing back its “Hired Guns” series of dining events, hosting collaborations with chefs from around the nation. For two days each, the “Hired Guns” will showcase their signature flavors and personalities in Gunshow’s open kitchen. Greg Denton and Gabrielle Quiñónez Denton, chefs and co-owners of Portland, Oregon, restaurant Ox will be featured. Guests are encouraged to make reservations. Menu items vary in price. Details.


Vino Venue Tues., May 26, 7-9:30 p.m. A Taste of Buckhead Chef Matt Marcus of Portofino will serve a five-course “farm-to-table” dinner. Each course will be paired with a wine selected by Vino Venue owner and master sommelier Michael Bryan. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Details.

Wednesday

Nakato Wed., May 27, 7-9:30 p.m. Nakato Sake Tasting Event Nakato will host guests for a prix fixe dinner and sake pairing. The menu includes a traditional Japanese seven-course meal with Japanese sake imported from Hakkaisan and Kikusui Brewery. Dishes include marinated fried salmon, chilled spinach salad, king crab legs, and black sesame pudding. Guests must be 21 years old or older. Dietary restrictions cannot be met. Details.

Thursday

Loews Atlanta Hotel Thurs.-Sun., May 28-31, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Atlanta Food and Wine Festival The Atlanta Food and Wine Festival offers a multitude of food and drink experiences showcasing Southern culinary traditions, including learning experiences such as cooking and cocktail classes, tasting seminars, and panel discussions. Attendees will also enjoy tasting tents and dinners and events around the city. Details.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q Thurs., May 28, 6:30 p.m. Foxeria del Sol Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Taqueria del Sol are joining forces again for Foxeria del Sol. Held at the Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Foxeria del Sol will benefit Hogs for the Cause, a nonprofit organization that funds pediatric brain cancer outreach services in the United States. There will be a four-course dinner featuring a cocktail hour with signature appetizers from Taqueria del Sol and Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q. Details.

Doraku Sushi Thurs., May 28, 7:30 p.m. Omakase Dinner at Doraku Sushi Chef Todd Kulper will offer a prix-fixe menu featuring appetizers, sushi, and dessert. SSI certified sommelier Koji Aoto will pair each dish with a sake that complements the dish’s Japanese flavors. Call for reservations. Details.

Saturday

Red Brick Brewing Sat., May 30, 1-6 p.m. Georgia Craft Beer Festival The Georgia Craft Beer Festival is back with its third installment with 30 top breweries in Georgia. Games, live entertainment, food trucks, and local craft beers will all be available for guests to enjoy. Some of the participating breweries include Bluetarp Brewing Co., Burnt Hickory Brewery, and several more. All attendees must be 21 years old and older. Details.

Sunday

Meehan’s Public House Sun., May 31, 1-4 p.m. Pints for Pups Pints for Pups is a benefit for Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption. Dogs and their humans can enjoy a day of fun, music, food, beer and a silent auction. Entrance fee includes a pint glass, one beer and access to the event. All dogs must be up to date on shots and on a leash. Details.

Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall Sun., May 31, 4-11 p.m. Concrete Jungle’s Fruit Ramble and Fundraiser Concrete Jungle will host its first fundraiser at Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall. Attendees will learn how to find, forage, and eat local fruit along the Beltline and PATH. Tickets include two New Belgium beers or a special Concrete Jungle mulberry cocktail. A portion of the proceeds will go to Concrete Jungle. Details.
