John Howell Park Sat., June 6, 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun., June 7, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Virginia-Highland Summerfest This neighborhood event includes all the festival staples: food vendors, live music, and a juried artist market. There will also be a 5K Run/Walk for those more active attendees — or just philanthropic ones. Proceeds from the run will go toward neighborhood projects, park improvements, landscaping, public libraries and more. There will also be a Tot Trot, plenty of food, and libations for those who so desire.

Georgia Railroad Freight Depot Sat.-Sun., June 6-7, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Summer ICE OK, the ICE stands for Indie Craft Experience, and this Atlanta gem is among the best craft markets around. Tailored for those who heart when Pinterest and Etsy go IRL (in real life), this event features more than 100 craft and vintage vendors. And, to celebrate turning 10, ICE has moved further into the city to a new location. So, it’s getting kind of crafty indeed!

Serpas Sat., June 6, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Annual Crawfish Boil Serpas executive chef Scott Serpas will lead the restaurant’s annual crawfish boil. The crawfish boil will include all-you-can-eat crawfish with corn and potatoes, chicken and andouille jambalaya, potato salad and Georgia strawberry cake. North Highland Park Sun., June 7, 7-11 a.m. Summerfest Celebration Ride Honors Warren Bruno The third annual Summerfest Celebration Ride will honor the former owner of Atkins Park Restaurant and Bar and Ormsby’s, Warren Bruno. Bike riders of all ages and skill levels will have the option of a 9.5-mile or 20-mile loop. Tour leaders will guide each group from North Highland Park through Atlanta neighborhoods before arriving at Atkins Park for brunch. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society via the Atkins Park Cycling Team. Additional donations are welcome. Pre-registration is required. Details.
