In this two-class series, you'll learn how to decorate a baby shower animal cake like a pro. On day one, you'll work on figurines and bake a yellow butter cake. Meehan's Atlantic Station Sat., June 27, 2 p.m. 10th Annual Canada Day Fest Canada’s finest craft brewery, Unibroue, will be hosting a Canada Day party at Meehan’s Public House Atlantic Station! There will be street hockey for the kids and an art show and sale from local Canadian artists. Experienced and amateur contestants alike will compete for the titles of “Best Restaurant,” “Best Amateur,” and “Best Overall,” with cash prizes awarded at the end of the competition. Oakhurst Garden of the Wylde Center Sat., June 27, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Beer Garden Silent Auction and Fundraiser The Wylde Center is hosting its annual Beer Garden Fundraiser featuring Atlanta's local breweries and food from local restaurants. Ale Yeah!, Blue Tarp Brewing, Orpheus, and Red Hare are among the breweries providing drinks. Eats will be provided by Farm Burger, Calle Latina, Revolution Doughnuts, and more. The Dammages and The Benders will play live music throughout the evening.
