When Scotty arrived at Marietta's Homeless Pets shelter more than a year ago, he was emaciated and scarred all over his body. Most likely, he was used as a bait dog in a dog-fighting ring. Despite his rough start, Scotty is a remarkable dog. He has gone through a renowned training program and is a mascot for Homeless Pets. Playing with toys is his favorite pastime and he often walks around with a ball in his mouth. He's a gentleman on a leash and would make a loyal and loving companion.
