Guests are invited to view this juried art exhibit featuring 34 works in various media - oil, pastel and watercolor paintings on paper or canvas, mixed fiber works, and photography by local artists. Award winners are Lorraine Kimsey’s ”California Dreamin’,” Joyce English’s “Red Hat Ladies,” and Mikki Dillon’s “Buoy Reflections.”
Venkman’s presents Joe Gransden’s Jazz Jam
Venkman’s - 740 Ralph McGill Blvd. N.E. Atlanta, GA 30312 Free. 8 p.m.
Venkman’s is the home of ATL’s most legendary jazz jam, hosted by Joe Gransden and his house band every Tuesday. Dinner reservations are available from 5:30 p.m. sign-ups start around 7:30 p.m. and music starts around 8 p.m.. Everyone is welcome and it’s free. Venkman’s also features half-price bottles of wine on Tuesdays. Details.
Laughing Skull Lounge Open Mic

Local Atlanta comedians and visiting national comedians working on their craft. Guests are invited to see comics doing jokes for the first time, expanding on current jokes, and some times just plain eating it... which is also pretty awesome.
