SEE & DO: Red, White & Brew

Ring in a day of freedom at the Georgia Aquarium on July 4.

BREW WHALES: Celebrate the 4th with a pint or two ... or six at the Georgia Aquarium.

Ring in a day of freedom at the Red, White & Brew bash, hosted by the Georgia Aquarium in their Oceans Ballroom. There will be unlimited samples of local and national beer, featuring Atlanta’s own Sweetwater, Terrapin Brewing Co., and Gate City Brewing, alongside several ciders and a souvenir tasting glass that comes with admission to the event. Wolfgang Puck Catering will provide a classic Southern barbeque dinner, with vegetarian options also available. Guests will also enjoy live music and bear witness to more than 500 aquatic species that call the aquarium their home. Proceeds from this event will go toward the Georgia Aquarium’s Sponsored Education Admissions program, which provides free admission to the aquarium for those in need of financial assistance. This event is 21 and up.

$50-$65. 7-10 p.m. Mon., July 4. Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker St. N.W.www.georgiaaquarium.org. 404-581-4000.
