Art Crush 2017

Art Crush Auction, BURNAWAY’s largest fundraiser of the year, returns for a sixth round on Saturday. This year’s theme is prom, so dig through your closet for that old tux or gown and come decked out like it’s the last year of high school! Performers from Dad’s Garage Theatre Company will be onsite and more than 100 emerging and mid-career artists have contributed works on paper ($150 each). Attendees can bid on experiences such as a three-day trip to New Orleans and the Joan Mitchell Center, a blacksmithing lesson with Goat n Hammer, and more, with proceeds benefiting BURNAWAY’s online publication, Art Writers Mentorship Program, Teen Arts Writing Intensive, and other programs. Food from Bantam + Biddy and Naan Stop will be available, as well as a pre-auction champagne toast. Cheers!
