Fairies in the Garden

It’s that time of year again, when magic returns to Woodlands Garden for the sixth year in a row. Once again, Woodlands will partner with Skyland Trail for its annual event to celebrate art within nature. The event is free and open to the public. During the event, the Garden will host storytelling with Little Shop of Stories, hands-on crafts for all ages, and the ever-popular ‘Summoning of the Fairies’ parade.

Visitors will discover tiny fairy houses tucked throughout the Garden. The houses are created by Skyland Trail artists using moss, bark, twigs, branches, seed heads, leaves and other natural materials. With hints provided by Woodlands, visitors can find fairies of all kinds - as well as trolls - tucked into sheltered nooks along the wooded trails.
