“The Meraki Diaries could be considered an anthropological study of a culture that is slipping away from us. One that once existed in ancient lands, where the sent of sandalwood was the breath we inhaled. Aisha has made it this particular series’, as well as her life’s work to learn and understand this fading culture, in the only way she knows how; by putting oil to canvas.”
