From the venue:

In the spirit of Vegetarian Awareness month, the Black Vegetarian Society of Georgia is showing Atlanta the more inclusive side of going green with the third annual Atlanta Vegan Food & Tea Festival. Group panels, book signings, health vendors and the Art of Tea Experience are all a part of this year’s extravaganza, centered around ”The Spirituality of Eating and How Food Affects The Mind, Body and Spirit” by Doctah B. Sirius. Cooking demonstrations from local chefs like Vegan By Nature’s chef Stephanie Sunshine and Let’s Be Vegan’s chef Shantelle Gary will provide practical learning opportunities for those interested in taking the ideas of the festival into their own kitchens. Grey, an Atlanta-based rapper who went viral with his song “Vegan Thanksgiving,” will also be performing. Guests can expect a holistic, plant-based experience that incorporates elements of food, music and open discourse around all things plant-based. Free swag bags will be provided for the first 300 guests.
