Trifecta 2.0 is the second annual, juried exhibition featuring a selection of current MFA candidates from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro; Georgia State University, Atlanta; and University of Georgia, Athens. The first iteration of Trifecta, curated by Georgia Southern graduate students and hosted by Augusta University, opened in the summer of 2016.

Trifecta 2.0 was organized by a group of current MFA and MA students in Studio Art and Art History and was juried by Ridley Howard. The exhibition is on view at Georgia State University’s Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Galleries through September 22.

Ridley Howard was born in 1973 in Atlanta. He received his BA and BFA from the University of Georgia, Athens, and his MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Recently, Howard’s paintings were on view in the Atlanta Biennial at the Atlanta Contemporary and Intimisms at James Cohan Gallery, NY. He is also co-founder of gallery 106 Green in Brooklyn.
