Summer time means an explosion of festivals for all the warm weather lovin’ Atlantans. Grant Park hosts their 9th annual SUMMER SHADE FESTIVAL AUG. 27-28. There’s something for everyone at this festival, even the kiddies. A 5K run for the oldest public park in Atlanta kicks off the weekend events.
