Graphic artist and illustrator Eric Nine has found a unique outlet for blending his loves for the arts and the supernatural: Transforming local artists and musicians into ghastly ghouls for a series of portraits dubbed “I’m A Beast.” Past victims to have undergone these campy renderings include 4-Ize, Señor Kaos, D.R.E.S. tha Beatnik, Floyd Da Locsmif, Stephanie Luke from the Coathanger, and more. If there’s a common theme, it’s that all of his subjects are beasts at what they do. For this round, titled “the Second Killing,” six new portraits find Rasta Root, Hebru, Scott Weatherwax, Shawn Knight, and more rendered as foreboding creatures of the night. C.Flux.Sing, Knight, and Mike Moore will have works on display as well. Grand Prize Winners From Last Year and DJ Rasta Root also perform.
