The ex-Stray Cats frontman has tapped into a cottage industry strutting his way through Yuletide favorites along with his swinging 18-piece big band. Now on the 12th holiday go-round of his Christmas Rocks! Tour, Setzer recently released Rockin’ Rudolph, an album that rearranges holiday classics to fit his rockabilly twang and brass attack. It’s high on colorful kitsch, but Setzer is such a mesmerizing performer the show never feels as polished and scripted as it is.
