- weloveatl, the Atlanta History Center, and local photographer Chris Moloney have come up with a Historic Photo Scavenger Hunt to get folks out and exploring in Downtown. People should meet at the Five Points MARTA Station at 4 p.m. There they’ll be given packets of 8-10 historic photos of neighborhood sites, ranging in date from 1908 to the ’50s, ’70s, and ’80s, courtesy the Atlanta History Center. For the next two hours teams and individuals (there’ll be about 200 photo packets available) can wander the city center at their own pace, locating and recreating the archival images. The goal, Moloney says, is “to celebrate the city and its past, how things have changed and how they haven’t really changed at all.â€
