Christina and Michelle Naughton continue a grand tradition of musical families — from the Beach Boys to the Staple Singers. This performance showcases the Princeton, New Jersey-born twin sisters’ classical piano talents tackling one of Mozart’s most mind-boggling and playful piano compositions, “Concerto No. 10 for Two Pianos in E- Flat Major.” The piece, supposedly written to play with his sister Maria Anna, aka Nannerl, features intermingling piano lines that bounce off of each other like siblings chatting through a family dinner. Expect a stately performance from the ASO as the Naughton sisters nimbly weave complex, moving lines of melody with ease. Joseph Young conducts.
