Wabi Sabi on the Beltline

Atlanta Ballet brings music and dance across the BeltLine with its free Wabi Sabi preview. Inspired by a Japanese worldview of finding beauty in natural settings (as dancer Devon Joslin does above), the event opens with a dance solo at Krog Street Market before moving along the trails. Attendees walking the Beltline will find themselves stumbling upon performances sampling from the breadth of the Wabi Sabi programming, including choreography from Atlanta Ballet fixtures Heath Gill, Tara Lee, and others. A live music performance under the bridge at the Old Fourth Ward Skate Park marks the event’s midpoint, and a final variety performance at The Shed at Ponce City Market caps the evening.
