Four female comics and one male comedian walk into a bar … or at least that’s the setup for this Friday’s Grrrls Night Out. Now in its sixth iteration, the 18+ event was initially started to celebrate women in stand-up and bring an all-female comedy lineup to Atlanta, though it now designates one spot for a male ally. Expect angsty and feminist vibes from the evening as an homage to the 90s riot grrrl movement.
