Sun Arkestra leader and sax man Marshall Allen pairs up with experimental filmmaker James Harrar for another Cinema Soloriens blowout. Allen and Harrar have skronked, wailed, and sputtered together for 25 years, forever channeling the mysteries of the universe in a show that engages all of the senses. For each improvised performance, they dial into the intangible frequencies of the day and let the spirit guide them along as Harrar’s psychedelic film textures and visual poems unfold. Bass player Maxwell Boecker and percussionist Kenneth Kenito" Murray join Harrar and Allen for this show in a lineup they’ve dubbed Soloriens Native Unity Quartet."
