Cast iron cooking sounds foreign, but that’s only because it’s been around for generations. Chef Elizabeth Weaver introduces all of the mechanics of cast iron cooking with different approaches to seasoning, prepping, cooking, and cleaning with a cast iron. The menu will show a versatile range of the value of cast iron cookware with the creations of charred tomatoes with basil on crostini, skillet cornbread with figs, baked eggs with chorizo and potatoes, and even sweeter treats like baked pear and apple crisp. Limited seating available.
