Yale University Professor Hazel Carby, Ph.D., will participate in dialogue across Spelman College’s campus Sept. 17-18, 2015, as part of the Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Program.Dr. Carby will deliver the keynote lecture “Writing By Hand” Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. Dr. Carby is the Charles and Dorathea S. Dilley Professor of African American Studies and American Studies at Yale University.Free and open to the public, the lecture will take place at Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D.
