From the venue:

Obnox mastermind Bim Thomas is a Cleveland punk lifer, having spent years mixing classic Detroit soul and Memphis blues with modern garage fuzz. Thomas rose to prominence in the ’90s, drumming for songwriter and guitarist Don Howland (Gibson Brothers) in blues punk two-piece Bassholes. With his current project, it’s Thomas’ turn to front an outfit with a penchant for making traditional pop sound modern and confrontational. Obnox’s reputation is built on a seemingly endless stream of vinyl releases, including the brand-new Juke That Sat by the Door 12-inch, issued by local imprint Chunklet Industries.
