The alliance of fusion jazz organ, bass, and drum trio Medeski Martin & Wood with ex-Miles Davis guitarist John Scofield has yielded only three albums in 17 years. But that’s what keeps the partnership fresh. The trio-plus-one is touring behind its latest album, Juice, which displays diverse musical synergy on original numbers and an 11-minute cover of “Sunshine of Your Love,†done reggae/dub style.
