On Wed., Dec. 24, South City Kitchen will handle the grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning, while guests sit back, relax and enjoy the time with friends and family. The culinary team will prepare a three-course Southern-style spread featuring old Charleston she-crab soup with fresh cream and sherry, pan-seared scallops with boiled peanut puree, tomato-mustard seed relish and pecan pesto, roasted turkey breast with giblet gravy, cornbread dressing, collard greens, whipped potatoes and orange cranberry sauce, pan-roasted hake with corn jus, lady pea hoppin’ John and watercress butter, sweet potato and pumpkin pie, Southern chocolate pecan pie and more.
