From the venue:

The Face of Emmett Till is a play written by Mamie Till-Mobley, Emmett’s mother, and David Barr, III that depicts the circumstances of the death of a 14 year of old Chicago student visiting his relatives in rural Mississippi in the 1950’s. In the wake of the controversial Treyvon Martin murder, this play is a most timely reminder of days long since passed yet if not remembered, can quickly become our present.
