This event will be held at Ponce City Market which can be found at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave. N.E.

Join us for a special edition of MODA’s Queer Icon Cross-Stitch workshop! Learn all about how cross-stitch got subversive. We’ll cover some basic history with mind-blowing examples, and you’ll learn cross-stitching basics and how to bring your subversive design into reality!

We will have patterns of queer icons available, but feel free to pattern your own if your favorite isn’t represented.

Participation and materials fee covers everything you need to create your own cross stitch including a 4” hoop, AIDA cloth, needle, threader, embroidery floss, and graph paper. You’ll be able to take this all home with you too!

$35 for non-members, $30 for MODA members.  Or, bring a friend and pay $50 for a Buddy Pack for two adults!

Appropriate for ages 21+. Please contact the facilitator, Jess Lewis at jlewis@museumofdesign.org with questions or accessibility needs.
