Introduction to Breathwalk: Breathing Patterns

Breathwalk is a walking meditation that combines breathing patterns synchronized with your steps and enhanced with mindfulness. Changing the way you breathe can elicit physiological and emotional responses. Join for a guided walk through WildWoods and Fernbank Forest as you learn how to use different breath patterns to increase energy, calm your nervous system and become more centered.

Important Notice: This is an outdoor program. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour and is appropriate for ages 14 and up. Please be advised that the trail system in Fernbank Forest includes some rough and uneven terrain as well as paved paths with steep grade. Please see our list of guidelines to help you make the most of this program.

Cost: Included with Museum admission and free for members. Space is limited to 15 people and advance reservations are required at 404.929.6400.
