The Princess Bride is part of The Strand’s Page to Screen Book Club, a monthly book club where members can read and discuss the books behind the movies shown on the big screen. The Princess Bride, based on the novel ‘The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern’s Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure’, was written by William Goldman who also wrote the adapted screenplay for the film. Page to Screen meets in the Lumiere Lounge before the film to discuss the month’s book, then moves into the auditorium to watch the story play out on the big screen.
