Saving Ourselves Symposium: The Black Print
From the venue:
Categories: Conference
The Saving Ourselves Symposium (SOS) is an annual conference designed to educate and empower the Black LGBTQ+ community in the South. Sessions provide cutting-edge research, share promising health practices and strategies, and celebrate the culture and creativity of the Black LGBTQ+ community. This convening takes a dual approach of not only prioritizing those who provide services but also those who identify as LGBTQ+. It is a unique and intentional space for the community to share with, learn from, and celebrate one another.
The annual Conference, SOS 2022, will continue that legacy with a theme that speaks to the urgency of our times and the necessity of action. The theme for this year’s convening will be: The Black Print: Strategies. Opportunities. Solutions.
