Please join the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild at the Hudgens Center for Art & Learning for the Opening Reception of our 2023 Juried Exhibition - Transformation.

This year 38 works from 29 fiber artists are featured. The pieces include various types of woven items, tapestries, and works created from a variety of fibers and other mixed media. They range in size from 10"x10" to 60"x60" and are sure to entertain and inspire you.

At 3:00 pm there will be a juror talk by Tommye McClure Scanlin and presentation of awards. Scanlin is Professor Emerita at the University of North Georgia and has been weaving for over forty years. She is a Fellow of the Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and of the Lillian E. Smith Center.
