Event Description

Born in Boulder, Colorado and raised between Paris and Los Angeles, Chris Stills infuses his multicultural influences into his work as a singer-songwriter. Since his debut album 100 Year Thing for Atlantic Records produced by Ethan Johns, Chris has toured the world performing and recording with a variety of brilliant artists including, Don Was, Leanne Rimes, Ryan Adams, Government Mule, Smashing Pumpkins, Richard

Ashcroft, Lucinda Williams, Paul Weller, Ricky Lee Jones, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash, Veronique Sanson, Neil Young, Patti Smith, Brandi Carlyle, Beck, Rufus Wainwright and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real amongst others. Regularly called to provide harmonies and sit in as a session musician on guitar. He was most recently gearing up to harmonize and play guitar with David Crosby for his upcoming world tour in 2023. Chris's songs have been featured in numerous T.V. shows and movies including the two award winning films American Hustle, Hot Pursuit, and This is 40, and I Tonya. His latest album Don't Be Afraid was released in 2018 featuring 3 co-writes with Ryan Adams (Criminal Mind), Natasha Bedingfield (The Weekend), and David Saw (In Love Again). He has a new EP set to be released in summer of 2023 and an album in the works for release in spring 2024.

Stills made his acting debut in France in 2009 as Julius Caesar in the top-grossing French musical, Cleopatre--The Last Queen of Egypt. His film roles include a critically acclaimed performance alongside Melanie Laurent in the French film Requiem for a Killer, which Elle magazine called, "Sublime... a revelation." He also guest starred on seasons 5 and 6 of Showtime's Emmy-winning, television hit, Shameless.

Over the past few years, Chris has focused his attention and time on producing and growing his family charity concert, Light Up the Blues to benefit Autism Speaks, with such entertainers as MC Jack Black, Brad Pitt, Christina Applegate and Amy Brenamen with performances by Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, The War on Drugs, The White Buffalo, Burt Bacharach, Sheryl Crow, Don Felder and Steve Earl.

Chris works as a fundraising advisor and sits on the Board of Advisors for SONA while regularly participating in events to raise awareness for singer songwriters.

He has mostly recently collaborated with Rufus Wainwright, Graham Nash, John Forte and his father Stephen Stills.

Chris lives between LA and Paris with his wife Stacy and their three children.
