CRITIC’S PICK: Hoodoo Gurus, Center Stage —These down-under power poppers’ debut arrived in 1984 and through thick and thin, the Dave Faulkner fronted quartet has never stopped. They intermittently cranked out tough, unapologetically tuneful rocking, even if some of their albums took a decade between appearances. Their recent 2022 release, Chariot of the Gods, sounds just as fresh as they did forty years ago. And with dozens of great tunes that never get old, like their first hit “I Want You Back,” at their disposal, this should be a blast. — Hal Horowitz
