CRITIC’S PICK: A Kid’s Christmas & Holidays With The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, Mount Pisgah Church - The event at 3:30 p.m. is an ideal way to introduce children to the wonders of a symphony orchestra. This sensory-friendly concert encourages kids to dance, sing-along and participate freely any way they like. The occasion is suitable for those with Autism, Alzheimer’s, dementia and other special needs. Additionally, “The orchestra invites families to bring headphones and other sensory items that may help the concert be more enjoyable for sensitive individuals,” organizers said.Then, at 7:30 p.m., the JCSO will play holiday ditties accompanied by guest soloist Bethany Mamola and the Johns Creek Chorale. Guest conductor Paul Bhasin will lead the JCSO in family-friendly holiday tunes that are loved across world cultures. This concert will feature dancers, a special narrator, singalongs, and an appearance by Santa Claus to get your whole family in the holiday spirit.
