The Kyle Bryant Trio live at Eddie’s Attic!

A veteran of the Eddie’s Attic stage from his time with the Decatur-based band The Bitteroots, guitarist Kyle Bryant returns with his own ensemble: The Kyle Bryant Trio. Following a recent performance at the South Carolina Jazz Festival—where audience members praised the trio’s dynamic, give-and-take approach to improvisation (with one spectator suggesting the experience deserved to be captured on a live record)—Kyle began contemplating where such a recording should take place.

The answer was clear: Eddie’s Attic. With its rich history and intimate atmosphere, the venue is the perfect setting to showcase the trio’s dynamic interplay and improvisational prowess.

Rooted in jazz while drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, The Kyle Bryant Trio will feature their original compositions front and center in this special performance, aiming to preserve the magic often found in their live shows. Joining Kyle are his frequent collaborators: Tony Lee from Columbia, SC, on drums, and Travis Shaw from Augusta, GA, on bass.
