Allison B. Cooke: An Appreciation

Thomas Deans Fine Art announces “Allison B. Cooke: An Appreciation,” an exhibition devoted to the work of noted mixed-media painter the late Allison B. Cooke, who showed her work at Thomas Deans Fine Art for over a decade. On view from March 1 through March 22, 2025, the exhibition will featurea a small selection of the artist’s paintings, including several completed just before her untimely death in the spring of 2024. Allison painted primarily in oil/mixed media, egg tempera, and watercolor. Her fascination with aged surfaces and the remnants of history they reveal inspired much of her mature work, such as the paintings in this exhibition.
