The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival Returns

Now in its 23rd year, the Summer Shade Festival returns to Grant Park on Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, 2025. A signature fundraiser for the Grant Park Conservancy, the free two-day event features live music, a curated artist market and vintage showcase by GVG Events, and a strong lineup of family-friendly fun. With 140+ regional vendors, local bites and sips, and much more, Summer Shade offers a mix of creativity and connection. The festivities begin Saturday at 8 a.m. with the Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, a neighborhood race through Grant Park’s scenic streets supporting the Conservancy’s ongoing preservation efforts.
