Jupiter Coyote concert at Brookhaven City Centre Grand Opening

Macon-based band Jupiter Coyote will perform a free community concert on Saturday, Aug. 9, when Brookhaven’s new City Centre is unveiled to the public.

The #BetterTogether concert will cap a day full of family friendly activities, walking tours of the new building, free food tastings from local restaurants and city information booths.

The concert starts at 5 p.m. Space is limited and attendees will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. A full schedule for the day’s activities will be released soon.
 

Anchoring the City’s evolving downtown district, the facility is the largest capital investment in Brookhaven’s history and represents a new era of public engagement, civic access, and sustainable design. Brookhaven City Centre, at 4001 Peachtree Road NE, is the first municipal building in Georgia constructed primarily using mass timber, a renewable material that aligns with Brookhaven’s sustainability commitments.

In addition to the concert, the public celebration will also include:

• Free kid’s games and activities
• Walking tours of the facility highlighting its ecologically sustainable design elements
• Interactive stations showcasing programs from city departments
• Live music and performances throughout the day
• Food vendors and family activities
