Connect at SCAD FASH for another empowering discussion with Atlanta-based photographers. Led by award-winning filmmaker and editorial director Isoul H. Harris, photographers Ahmad Barber and Donté Maurice discuss the interplay of elegance and Black expression while sharing their experience as co-founders of photography studio AB + DM. This celebration of the city’s renowned visionaries is presented in tandem with the exhibition Campbell Addy: The Stillness of Elegance. 

Sharing their journeys and personal perspectives on photography as both a career and a medium of rhetoric, these special guests delve into the art of capturing celebrity and fashion, exploring themes of representation and identity with insights into the contemporary landscape of Black artistry. Hear how their global contributions to the medium expand on expectations of elegance, stillness, and Black identity while fostering a powerful, local connection to Campbell’s work.
