Book Club: The Architecture of Happiness
From the venue:
MODA and the Peachtree Branch Library continue their monthly design book club with Alain de Botton’s The Architecture of Happiness. With characteristic wit and clarity, de Botton examines how the spaces we inhabit influence our moods, values, and sense of self. The discussion invites participants to consider how beauty, proportion, and harmony in the built environment can enrich daily life—and what it means to design for both function and joy.
Held on the first Friday of every month, MODA’s book club creates a welcoming space for design-minded readers to share ideas and make connections. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch (just skip the red drinks) and join MODA staff and guest facilitators for conversation. Copies of The Architecture of Happiness are available through the Fulton County Library system or in MODA’s Design Shop. Thoughtful dialogue, community, and design inspiration await—no registration required.
