Homecoming Game Day Parade

The 22nd annual Homecoming Parade will take place prior to the football game on Saturday, Oct. 11 because we want all students to be able to participate! Registered student organizations and university departments are eligible to join in on the parade either by reserving a golf cart, using a personal vehicle, building a float, or walking with your group. All members of the GSU community are invited to come line the streets of Summerhill before the tailgates begin and support your fellow Panthers who are participating in the parade. 

A map of the specific route is available here. Load in and cart/vehicle decoration will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Blue Lot and the parade will start at 12:30 p.m. 

Registered Student Organizations & University Departments - There are 4 ways to get involved with the parade:
1. Reserve a Golf Cart to ride in during the parade (cost attached)
2. Bring your own vehicle(s) (i.e. Classic car, convertible, pickup truck)
3. Build your own float
4. Walk with your group
