The 22nd Annual Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) returns to downtown Rome, Georgia, November 6–9, 2025, for four days of premieres, panels, and live events celebrating independent film from around the world.

Recognized internationally, RIFF brings together filmmakers and audiences to share stories, spark creativity, and build professional connections in a vibrant community setting.

Highlights include:

  •  Flannery O’Connor Award honoring Jerusha Hess (Napoleon Dynamite), presented by Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?)
  • Opening night Georgia-made thriller Signing Tony Raymond, starring Rob Morgan and Mira Sorvino
  • The U.S. premiere of Lone Samurai by Josh C. Waller
  • The Black Hole Symphony collaboration with the Rome Symphony Orchestra
  • Closing concert by Atlanta Rhythm Section, performing “Champagne Jam” and other hits.
