WRFG presents David Rovics featuring Cowboy Dave Sinrich

WRFG has a special benefit concert for you on Saturday, Dec. 20 3-5 pm in the Harlon Joye Community Room at L5P community Center.

David Rovics is a protest singer from Portland, Oregon, who has recorded songs of resistance and to promote social change in the tradition of Pete Seeger, Phil Ochs, and Bob Dylan. This is a rare visit to Atlanta and if you have not heard much or any of his music, you can find his work on streaming services or davidrovics.com. His ideas and lyrics are controversial and fit with the concerns about our culture.

Also, Cowboy Dave Sinrich will appear and sing his parody- “Let’s go Join the Fascists”, a funny song except too many have taken it literally. It will be an afternoon that validates those who are trying to do what they can to see our culture live up to the promise of freedom of thought and action.
