Winterreise, or "Winter Journey," is one of the masterworks of 19th century German art song. This cycle of songs by Franz Schubert follows a journeyman who wanders through a wintry landscape, trying to process his feelings after being rejected by a woman he thought he would marry. Perimeter music faculty Brian Bonin and Vicente Della Tonia, Jr. will enhance their live performances with video projections and audio that help the audience to discover power details in the music.
