Hapeville Butterfly Lantern Parade

Spend a charming evening at the Hapeville Butterfly Lantern Parade on Saturday, March 21, from 5 to 10 p.m. to celebrate the arrival of spring. Taking place at Samuel Hape Plaza, this dazzling event will feature an array of festivities and family-friendly activities, including food and beverage vendors, a pop-up artist market, a crafting station and more. The mile-long parade will kick off at 8:10 p.m. – parade marchers are invited to create butterfly lanterns at any one of the four workshops throughout March or create your own at home. Following the parade, there will be entertaining live music and the opportunity for puppet photo-ops. Everyone in the community is invited to attend the soiree, with floral attire encouraged. The butterfly lantern puppet workshops will be held on the following dates: Sunday, March 8; Saturday, March 14; Sunday, March 15; Wednesday, March 18; Thursday, March 19; and Friday, March 20.
