Levi Foster W/ Zach Stich at Eddie's Attic
CRITIC'S PICK:
Thurs., May 21
Levi Foster, Eddie's Attic - Any singer/songwriter titling his first single from a forthcoming album "Fat Elvis" is working interesting territory. Better yet, Nashville's Foster, who traveled to LA to hook up with hot Americana producer Shooter Jennings, names his October, 2026 disc Appalachian Funk Tree. Only a few tracks have been released but you'll hear plenty more previewed tonight. Foster's deep voice and lyrically intriguing songs like "Sawmill Man" and the jazzy "Josephine," along with his perky melodies and rootsy, backwoods accompaniment have made him a face to watch in the crowded roots/folk/pop scene. - Hal Horowitz

Levi Foster live at Eddie's Attic!
Virginia native Levi Foster is a natural-born showman with a knack for storytelling and a voice rooted in the heart of Country and Appalachian Americana. Known for his original songs, rich with grit and authenticity, Foster has carved out a fan base through social media and performing at clubs, festivals, and concert halls.
With a down-to-earth and comical personality, Foster bridges the gap between stage and crowd, making each show feel like a front-porch gathering. His magnetic live presence recently landed him on the Out Of The Woods Tour as direct support for viral sensation Oliver Anthony during the summer of 2024. Foster has also shared stages with legends such as Ricky Skaggs, Ashley McBryde, Trace Adkins, John Conlee, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tilis, Vince Gill, and The Time Jumpers, further cementing his place as a rising voice in modern Americana.
His debut album, We Made Fire, is set to release in August 2025. The 10-track project, produced by Ken Coomer (three-time Grammy-nominated drummer and producer), showcases Foster's raw lyricism and sonic blend of Appalachian roots and classic country soul. Looking ahead, Foster is slated to begin work on his sophomore album with acclaimed producer Shooter Jennings at the legendary Sunset Sound Studio in Los Angeles—promising yet another step forward in his genre-defying journey.
