Tenille Townes, Corrina, Eddie's Attic - They sure love country/folk singer/songwriter Townes in her home country of Canada. Not only has she logged a batch of awards there, including Female Artist of the Year (2019), but she attracted major attention dueting with fellow Canadian Bryan Adams on "The Thing that Wrecks You" 2023. Townes strips her instrumentation and previous pop impulses down to voice and acoustic guitar on an intimate new album The Acrobat, most of which will dominate tonight's set. The similarly styled opener plays songs from her recently released debut. - Hal Horowitz
