New date: An Evening With Dr. Ibram X. Kendi| Chain of Ideas

Due to a snowstorm that delayed travel out of Minneapolis, we had to postpone the original March 15 program with Dr. Ibram X. Kendi. We’re now set for its new date on Sunday, April 19 at 6 PM at Glenn Memorial Church.

We’ll be welcoming Kendi for a conversation about his new book, “Chain of Ideas: The Origins of Our Authoritarian Age,” which examines how great replacement theory has become an increasingly influential force in American political thought.

He’ll appear in conversation with George Yancy, Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Philosophy at Emory University.

Tickets include a signed first edition of “Chain of Ideas,” and if you purchased a ticket for the original March 15 event, that ticket will be honored for the new date. If you’re unable to attend, your ticket still includes the signed book, which we can hold for pickup or ship to you.
