Pixels at Play
From the venue:
In his solo exhibition Pixels at Play, Atlanta artist Billy Clifton-Strawn treats the pixel, the smallest unit of digital vision, not as a limitation but as an invitation. Working at the intersection of photography, digital manipulation, and layered abstraction, Clifton-Strawn builds immersive visual worlds from accumulated light, texture, and form. The exhibition spans monumental fabric prints, archival pigmented prints, and digital screen works, including two large-scale pieces measuring nearly 177 by 79 inches, alongside Still Here, a series responding to the erosion of queer civil rights in America, and The Pride We Carry, a six-monitor installation tracing one family's path toward recognition. A panel discussion and reception will be held July 11, 2026. Free and open to the public.
